Effects Related Wallpaper

Again,...my apologies G if this is the wrong forum.

This was posted on the Bossarea Forum....

and it got me wondering if anyone had any links to hi res pedal pron that would make good wallpaper. I love the professional commercial stuff but anything artsy fartsy would be cool.

NIN had some wallpaper with pedal photos. It was either in the free download of The Slip or Ghosts I.

I've got both of those so I'll have to look around the files to see if there are any images but the website netted a bunch of user contributed imagery but not exactly what I'm looking for.

Believe it or not, we had an fx wallpaper thread a year or two ago, and it's got some great stuff in it. I'm not saying "do a search" --obviously there's room for new wallpapers-- I'm just saying that thread has some cool stuff if you dig it up.

It never occurred to me to search but I probably should have huh.

I tried a subforum search of "wallpaper" that didn't net anything and "hi res" was a bust (mainly because "hi" is too small a word. I know I started a macro pedal photography thread a while back and someone started a pedal photography thread (both with some quality shots) but I was actually looking for the more commercial shots (like on the Boss and Thomann websites).

I made a thread about this pedal when I got it, but got no responses. I seem to generate apathy.

It's not you, it's the pedal. I think many of us think it looks cool but sounds "meh", and is over-large and over-priced.

I can see that. I haven't had the breadth of experience with different fuzzes, so I can only compare it to my Big Muff Pi and Truly Beautiful Disaster.

The Big Muff is very very good and solid, and the TBD is a gated, oscillating fuzz which has a fairly unique (to my ears anyway) sound but is kinda hard to use. The Big Spider is pretty much the sound I've always had in my head.
But to each his own!

Liking the Hi-res stuff! The ones on the Boss page are 1024 x 768... I tried one out and it felt like Windows 98 all over again!

EDIT: In some ways I wish it was... I'm running Vista now
