So I mailed off my B2 to Samson yesterday. It's due back probably after xmas and I'm going through effects withdrawal. I really can't afford any of the new toys on my gas list so I'm trying to sweat it out with just a Lazy Sprocket and a phrase sampler.
The lazy sprocket without any compression or drive is a very different thing. Between that and the loss of my beloved "tube-pre" model I feel naked. So, I actually started fiddlin' with the eq on my bass in earnest and found a pretty sweet tone that's a little more acoustic. I really miss my gadget but I think it's also a healthy break. |
