Eff't loops and Pedals

I'm not one to use effects much but now I'm in a band that needs me to sometimes use them.

I'm compiling various pedals.

I'm going to run a COMPRESSOR, DISTORTION, CHORUS, TREMELO, OCTAVE UNDER.

Is it okay to have these all in a loop situation or should I be running the distortion and compressor before the amp?

I used to run a one box does it all but it didn't have the compression I needed. It also lacked the tremelo effect I've been dying to have.

I would try the compressor and maybe the distortion before the amp. Everything else should be fine, but I would try them out.

I know there is a thread about this, I'll try finding it for ya.

Edit:
Effects Loop Question!

This should start leading you in the right direction for what to do with the compressor.

I think I'm going spend some time writing a good comprehensive signal chain order guide.

I like my distortions at the end because I like the way my modulations affect the qualities of the dirt. But that's just me.
