EH Graphic Fuzz Power Supply?

Sign in to disble this ad
Just picked up a EH Graphic Fuzz and was wondering if it can be powered by One Spot. The manual says to use the power supply which came with the pedal but I'm running out of room on my power strip also was wondering if I could use the one spot on my EH Ring Thing.

I don't have the graphic fuzz, but my other EHX XO series pedals work fine with my 1 spot

Just yanked this off the EHX site.

WARNING: Use only the 9.6 VDC 200mA adapter the POG2 comes supplied with. Do not
use any other adapters. Using other adapters, even those made by Electro-Harmonix, could
cause harm to the unit, the adapter or you. The POG2 does not use batteries.

Yeah that's basically the same warning that is in the manual. I was hoping to use the One Spot to power the graphic fuzz and the ring thing along with my other pedals.

All pedal manufacturers that make power supplies always warn you not to use anything but the one they make. If the pedal is 9ish volts you can use any 9 volt power supply.(provided it has the correct specs, pos/neg center/tips,etc) I just read the manual on the Graphic Fuzz and it says the power supply is 40 volts. So to answer your question no a 9 volt daisy chain won't work. At least it came with an adaptor and you don't have to go buy one.

You shouldn't daisy chain pedals running on different voltages. The old EHX Graphic Fuzz runs on a 40v power supply.

If yours says "9V" on the top of the box, it's the current model and can be daisy chained with other 9V pedals, within your supply's acceptable load (the amp rating).

yes I have the newer one it is 9 v the power adapter says 9.6 v just wondering if that .6 would make a difference or if daisy chaining it would cause any problems.
