I've got a line on the older version of this unit.

As far as I can tell, the only difference from the newer version is the box - the sliders look the same and are labelled the same. The inputs have also been moved - along the top for the old box but on left & right sides of the new box.

Can somebody confirm that the only difference between the old and new versions are cosmetic?

Thanks!

The power supply is also different. The old boy ran on 24V, the new one is 9V.

And more importantly they sound different.

The old one needs bypassing really, either with an external loop or modding the pedal for true bypass, because its buffered bypass sounds terrible. But do that and you'll have a better-sounding, easier to use pedal than the new one.

- A power supply is coming with the unit - not sure if it's the OE or aftermarket but I'll check to make sure it's 24v.

- Good to know about the bypass problem - I found this mod: http://www.shotgunnmods.net/shotgunn..._BMS_Mods.html and this one: http://www.analogman.com/eh.htm#microsyn

Anybody know of any others?
