Does anyone have experience with this pedal?

After having watched a bunch of videos of it, I am very attracted to its sound and delay capabilities, and for only $100 from theperfectbass.com I'm definitely thinking of buying it (after test driving it of course).

Granted the demos I saw were on guitar, I find there's really not a huge difference in the effect reproduction on a bass. I've used EHX guitar pedals on my bass before with excellent results (Big Muff Pi mostly).

There was some griping about volume loss between the dry and wet signals due to the nature of the blend knob on the MusiciansFriend reviews, but only some people mentioned that, so I don't know if that's seriously something to worry about.

It may be an individual distaste for the sound, but there didn't seem to be any significant detraction from volume in the demo vids.

Anywho...thoughts, stories, etc?

This is best digital delay pedal i have ever played. Repeats are crystal clear, without any "analog-like" character or mud. It sounds much better than any Boss and many other common digital delays. I haven`t tried it on guitar, but if you play bass with crispy tone with much highs, or play with pick, this pedal makes anything sound epic.

But, i sold it. And now i regret it, because i miss that clear, crispy repeats this pedal gave me. I sold it to fund Boss PS-3. I thought that delay modes would replace this unique sound, but i was wrong. PS-3 have good delay, but it just don`t have THAT character.
It also goes into oscillation very easy, and is capable of doing some interesting drone sounds. In one word - EHX.

The volume loss thing is n't a problem.

I like mine - use it for guitar though. It does a good analog style echo - not quite as wild as a real analog box but good enough.

What is does n't do is allow you to set the delay tempo with a tap tempo or midi. If you want to use it live you may find that feature necessary.....

more money though.

This pedal has great repeats-very clear as said above BUT has massive volume drop... I'm talking about 1/2 vol down!!! TRY BEFORE BUY, I had to sell mine.
