Has anyone with an EHX Bass Blogger tried powering it using a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+?
I've read the pedal says explicitly not to use 'daisy-chain' type power supplies, but I'm not positive if the Pedal Power qualifies as this, since the outputs are all isolated with their own dedicated 100/200mA to send to each pedal.
To add, I also E-Mailed EHX support about it, and they stated: Quote: |
Hello. That is true you cannot daisy chain the Bass Blogger via power jacks. You must use an EH adaptor.
| I'm not positive they understood the Pedal Power's outputs are isolated/dedicated power, and I'm just plain holding out hope my Pedal Power will work if I decide to get this cool pedal. Anyone have any experience to share here? |

The remainder are outright bizarre, with weird voltage requirements and AC (not DC) power needs...
You could also opt for other isolated-output power supplies depending on your power needs, such as the T-Rex Fuel Tank Junior and BBE Supacharger. The Voodoo Lab PP2+, however, is the most versatile one I know under $200 - nothing really compares in that price range.
Now, the Dunlop DC Brick, T-Rex Fuel Tank (regular, NOT Junior) and Gator G-BUS are power bricks that do NOT have isolated 9VDC outputs. These will NOT avoid the pitfalls of daisy-chain style power supplies.

Just to be sure, can anyone that owns the Blogger and a Pedal Power confirm that the pedal hasn't fried-out or blowed-up on them yet? |

Do you use the adapter for the SEM? Have you tried running it off a typical 9v wallwart? Do you think it'd really be detrimental to use anything other than the included AC adapter or is it just a fear game to optimize profit? |

It's pedal number 6 on a 1Spot, and I have no issues |

is it possible to connect a power supply(which gives in parallel other 5 pedals) straight into the battery "place"(sorry about my bad english!) of the blogger...?
...would that eliminate the problem or the unit itself?! |

...would that eliminate the problem or the unit itself?! | Nope, it won't work. As long as it's hooked into the daisy chain, you didn't avoid anything at all.
