EHX Bassballs problem

Sign in to disble this ad
Just wondering if anyone can help me out here.
I bought a used EHX bassballs a while back and now and all was good until a couple of weeks when the signal from the bassballs would start to become quite choppy. By that I mean, there would the tiniest amount of signal going through until I overdrove the bass to get it to 'kick back in'.

I had a good look inside and there doesn't seem to be any dry joints of anything of to that affect. Changed the battery probably 5 times to no avail.
Any suggestions as to what it could be?

Thanks in advance.

(If its any help, I'm using quite a hot active bass)

Question

This may be a redundant question, but have you checked your cables?
What about the battery in your bass?

Nope, changed the cables multiple times and still nothing.
The battery in my bass is fine too, I changed the other day actually - but nothing on the bassball front =/
