so it wont work on batteries anymore!!why??
it was working on battery a week back but now it wont. damn i hate this. it doesnt make sense to send it to USA anyway so i dont know what to do. powering it using a daisy chain adds buzz so i needed the battery option

If the battery clip is knackered due to too much handling with swapping and changing batteries, you should be able to see if a wire needs a quick re-soldering.
If not a visible fault, you could just replace the battery clip anyway.

My BBM powers fine of a Dunlop DC brick fine, which is really just a glorified daisy chain. No hums at all.

Maybe the two faults are linked ?

this happened to me a while back. there were no faults within the circuit that i could ascertain.
i now have two bbms one that stays on my big board, and one that goes out for smaller (gig bag) shows

Well, you are messing w/ the warranty when you modify the pedal.

So........either send it back for repair or buy a new one.

Welp, then unsolder the old battery clip and resolder a new clip to the power jack. If it doesn't work, you're no worse off than before...well, $4 poorer for the battery clip, but you can always desolder it and save it for future use!

Best of luck! Report back, please!

I am having the same problem with my EHX Knockout. It works fine when running from a power supply but won't work from a battery at all
