ehx big muff: usa vs russian

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok I been looking around and have found pretty much nothing, I'm really curious on what the main difference is between these two. I've heard that ths usa muff is a little more fuzzier, but then I heard the opposite. So I want to know if anyone out there knows anything else about them.

NYC Big Muff-Subtle but grindy sounding fuzz, not so great on low end...

Russian Big Muff-Nasty fuzz and retains low end well...

Also, I hate to fall into the stupid type of meme here on TB that says this but... USE THE SEARCH!!! I did before posting and found many Big Muff Vs. Big Muff threads...

For Bass I would recommend the Russian or the Bass Big Muff

Lots of postings on this topic....

EH bass Muff: great Muff for the money. Very similar tone wise to a Black Russian Version8.

Also:
Fuzzrocious Grey Stache (my favorite)
Musket V2 (yes SoonerMatt)
Barber Trifecta
Wren and Cuff tri pie 70's
Way Huge Swollen Pickle
and many more depending on what specific tone of muff you're looking for.

Wren & Cuff Tall Font Russian... for that classic green russian muff sound in a modern design/housing...

Also, yeah, 'Search'...
TONS of info out there, much more than a few posters will put in this thread.
