Today I got myself a black russian Big Muff in the mail. Just one little problem.

Is there a way to use this with a power adaptor? If not, where do I have to put in the batteries.
I opened the lid on the back but I don't really see where I have to put them. Which kind of batteries should be used?

Thanks, sorry for the noobish questions.

I wish there was a smiley for laughing so hard that milk comes out of my nose.

Unless you mod it yourself, batteries are your only choice. There's actually a store called Mohomods that take Russian muffs, mod them with better electronics/pots, and add a ac adapter to it:

A simpler choice is to buy a 1-spot 9V battery clip converter, it's how i run my russian big muff. Then you just plug a conventional 9v wall wart or daisy chain into the converter.
