I was wondering if anybody had some impressions and perhaps even soundclips of an english muff'n in action. I know Jack Lawrence of the raconteurs uses one and I can't get the bass riff of salute your solution out of my head |

I used to own one. Awesome pedal. Thick fuzz, kept the low end.
Just get one. You'll love it |

The Hematoma didn't work out. Is the Muff'n too fuzzy to be OD? Because it's going to be a bitch trying to talk the sales guys there that it's worth hooking it up for me. |

it keeps the low end as good as any other OD pedal I've ever come across. only weird thing is the power...12v + the retarded connector. other than that it's a great (and fun) tool. |

My gain does not go above 11 though. It is definatly more low gain with the stock 12AT7s.
And as said before the power supply is a PITA. |

the crappy power supply is not just 12V, it's 12V AC |

I find that the fuzz sounds less "defined" and deeper when using fingers.
Enjoy! |
