EHX English Muff'n Soundclips (12AY7 Tubes)

I think my other ones are in the wiki, but they were prolly recorded line->cassette->computer or using the weakass mic on my now gone cassette recorder->computer. So, I've done more

Clips:

The finger/pick noodles are for those who don't want to spend the next half an hour or more listening to the same run over and over and over. 9 clips x 9 runs x 2 for finger/pick = 162 runs Yes, it got boring, and thats why I did the other 2

Im planning on doing more when I get the Mesa AX7s in (they had none when I went to the store ), and when I get the Super Chile Picoso (god dang I love saying that: "PICOSO!!!!") Ill do some with it and the LPB in front of the Muff'n

Enjoy

Is a boost really necessary on a pedal with an input level control?

My usual settings are treb max, mids max, bass half, gain max (last couple of runs of the "gain max, bass half" one). Nice fo' sho, but not gainy enough for me sometimes. My amp tends to smooth out the muff'n a little, so it doesn't sound as high a gain as those clips. Hence the boost.

Im more getting the Mesa tubes as an experiment. I want to see what an AY and an AX in different orders sound like.

Actually thats one reason why I like the Muff'n and doubt there will ever be a replacement for it. I love being able to change out the tubes if I want

EDIT: Not to turn this into a "vs." thing, but there are 2 things the ValveDrive has that make it not a very good comparison to the Muff'n:
1) VD only has 1 tube
2) VD's tone knobs only cut, Muff'n's cut and boost
