Do you have it on an isolated power supply? The Freeze is not supposed to be used on a daisy-chain.

Are you using the correct PS for the pedal? Does it hum when it is the only pedal in your signal chain?

Mine does not hum and it's on a 1Spot, yours may be defective.

If you play a fuzz or a noisy bass into the freeze, that will create noise.

If you have several pedals you needed one anyway.

Mine doesn't hum I don't think but I do notice a slight "pulse" type sound when I engage the pedal. I don't hear it live but when I'm wearing earphones I do hear this. Normal?

1) Freeze does not support a battery.
2) Freeze comes with it's own power supply.

Maybe, but the real question does it hum with the power supply that came with it? If so then you have a defective unit that needs service.
