EHX Nano Bassballs distortion function question...

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm going to do the trimpot mod to my Nano Bassballs and in the interest of making room inside the pedal for the external pots and for the pure fact that I find the distortion function useless, does anyone know how to remove the toggle switch thus essentially bypassing the distortion function?

Consider doing the trim pot mod first and see if you still hate the distortion as the mod changes the distorted sound significantly.

I've messed around with a modded Bassballs and didn't like the sound of the distortion on that one either. I just want to eliminate it altogether.

I think that the switch just opens a circuit to remove the distortion. If the switch is board mounted (I think it is on the nano) then just desolder, remove and it should work fine.
