'Afternoon.

Finally went for this pedal which, as an analog alternative to my Boss CEB-3. The Analogman are still out of the horizon for now. Really liked the way it sounded in the shop and will plug it in my home practice set-up later.

Question: there's an internal pot labeled "tops m.i.t. 14". I'm rather "electronics-challenged", so I don't want to fool around with it. Does anyone know what it does ?

EHX usually says if there's a trimpot that you can/should fiddle with, they'll say so in the instruction manuals. Otherwise, stay away.

Thx. I read the one-pager again this morning and there's indeed a warning: "Please do not touch the circuit board while the bottom plate is off or you risk damaging a component" at the end. Might have skipped that one last night, my mistake. So it's down to a switch and a knob.

So far, for my taste and with my set-up, the pedal sounds good with the deep switch off and with the knob around noon. Sounds better with the deep switch on and the knob maxed at 9 am. Much warmer than the Boss CEB-3 I've used for a couple of years (not knocking off the Boss pedal, still keeping it around).
