EHX Neo Clone VS T-Rex Sweeper Bass Chorus

Sign in to disble this ad
I like the price of the new Neo Clone, but does it kill tone? Does it hold the bottom? It fits my least knobs possible rule!

The T-Rex can be found on macdaddymusic.com CHEAP right now ($100), but does it KILL the EHX? I suppose it's bc it has the word "bass" in the title I would trust that it would hold the bottom a little more.

I just bought one and it seems to distort quite a bit. Not sure if this is an individual defect of if it's just not meant for bass.
I will be returning or exchanging this pedal.

I've got a T-Rex Sweeper and in my opinion is the best chorus I've ever used. Its very tweakable and has no low end loss what so ever. It can do mild, thick, shimmering, and wavey. Putting an EQ pedal after it really opens it up

I have the Neo Clone and although I do like its analog warmth (as opposed to the Boss CEB-3 I use most of the time), I must admit there's a bit of low-end loss, but not too much with the depht switch on. Here's a bit of a review I did when I bought the thing, with a few clips.

EHX Neo Clone clips !
