The 2880 calls for a supply of 9VDC / 500mA and I managed to pick up a 9VDC / 800mA supply at RadioShack. Is there a reason that this supply would not work?
The 2880, as with most older EHX stuff, is center positive. So you'll need a polarity swap in order for it to work if your power supply is center negative.
What about your POG? If it is the original, it is also center positive and requires 18v with the same plug type as the 2880.
Here's the power supply spec sheet from EHX. http://www.ehx.com/assets/instructio...-chart-usa.pdf
Based off of this, you should be able to power both pedals no problem unless one is shorted out in which case I'm not too familiar with those circuits. If you have a newer POG that is center negative, it won't power on if the 2880 is daisy-chained to it without the polarity swap adapter.
