Bravo to them, and to all other effects innovators we've seen in recent years. It is a great time to be an experimental bass player.

Could this be a possible contender to the moog?

I almost wish they had gone after the Ring Stinger's insane design a bit more, but this looks a bit more musical/less wacky. |

Still, a pretty decent deal. I look forward to hearing some GAS inducing clips.

| | | | Presets could well be handy with a ring mod.
Tiny tweaks on the Moog can cause huge variations in sound.
I suppose the presets could also be used to step through frequencies in a sequence akin to the zvex ring mod thing ? |

The prospective price for the DMB is around £125 so I'd imagine this will be similar.

I'm still GASing for a Ring Mod since before Xmas; but can't really justify the price of a Moog or Randy's Revenge and the cheaper Android doesn't seem like it would be flexible enough without Expression input. Mind you, I still can't really imagine being able to use a ring mod more than once in a set of my band's music. |

I'm interested to see how it turns out, I image the tone and tracking will be reminiscent of the *OG's, which may be a good or bad thing in some respects. Quote:
