I have been looking for some good clips of this and bass and have only found a couple of vids on Youtube that really didn't sell it for me. Has anybody done any of there own?

Does anybody around here use one for anything other that making bizarre noises? I suppose that I like the appeal of the tremolo feature and a couple of others, but is it really worth the $$ for only a couple of useable features? Or have I miss interpretted this pedal?

It's a ring mod, it's supposed to make bizarre sounds...

I use it for several different octave styles, tremolo-chorus type sounds, and obviously ring mods. And anything else weird or cool I can find. You can dial in the frequencies to the exact note you want, so you can hit just for effect on a certain note in a song, like say an ending note or whatever.

Yeah, I have one that I'm able to get some pretty cool sounds from. I threw a sample up on www.soundclick.com/zebcarpenter if you want to check it out.

Thank you so much for that, it really shows the potential of this pedal

Wow! Fantastic sounds with the ring thing! I've got a copilot android coming to me and though it's not the exact same thing I am even more excited!

Glad you guys dug it. I was playing the Ring Thing through my VT bass to give it a bit more of a "natural" sound, similar to what you might actually hear playing it through an amp. I hope I didn't disguise the tone too much. It can be a little bit brash sounding going straight through a DI without the VT.

Oh, also, if you click on the "full" section on the Ring Thing demo, it will bring up the full signal chain and a description of each sound.
