| | | | For decent Motown overdrive that's pretty close to a Bernadette without the Snakepit motherboard and LA2A-
Black finger: Lamp/Squash- 0-9:00 comp- pregain 3- post 12-3 into BJFE Blueberry: Vol12-tone 8-drive 2. Helps to have flats and sometimes to stick foam or a damp sponge under your bridge. Dig! |

I forget which setting it was, but one of the switches when turned a certain way, (maybe lamp/led), caused more noise than I could even bear. Don't do that.

| | | | Some settings are definitely noisier than others, especially when recording, but live I haven't really been bothered by noise. It's a fantastic pedal, and I use all manner of settings with my ric 4003. My 'always on' setting is lamp and no squash, but for ebow and slow tempo tunes I go for the lamp/squash setting. |

The input gain is trickier, 'cause it's different for different players/styles. I'd start with it at noon and adjust up or down with your ears. I found the higher the pregain, the warmer the tone came out, it's nice, just a little hissy.

Thats a lot of gain in my opinion and I use active basses. Thats also a low amount of compression so I get some slight overdrive, but its barely noticeable. Just warms my tone a little. And seriously I get pretty much no noise still. LOVE this pedal.

| | | | How often should the status light be going on? |
