Stay away from the Dr Q, it simply doesn't work at all on bass.

I never really saw the point of the Dr. Q. Seems unnecessary compared to the Q-Tron line.

I actually bought two of the nano's, thinking it might be better the second time. It wasn't. There are so many EF's that are far superior, and they're not all expensive.

The Dr. Q is pretty good when you just play it without comparing it to the other Q products from EH. I liked it better than the Bassballs (which surprised the hell out of me), but it is just so limited compared to the slightly more expensive micro Q-tron that it is difficult to go with it.

Thats the switch that makes it work with bass, or not. In the right setting, it sounds alright with bass, in the wrong it cuts all the low frequencies and then kind of sounds like a lo-fi AM radio through a 3 inch speaker sort of deal. Neat for a intro or break maybe but as a bass player that switch may as well not be there.

i don't like how its voiced, thats the only reason why i don't have it on my board. same reason goes to the multiple units of all the bass balls i have tried too. almost had a nano bass ball on my board that said

You have to also keep in mind that it's only a 40$ filter with one knob and a useless toggle switch, I wouldn't have my hopes to high for it.

Yup, it does 1 trick. If you like that trick, it's a smokin' deal for a pedal.
