Pretty wicked. Pun very much intended.

I think it's a great demonstration of why many musicians like to use effects. It's not necessarily because our dry sound isn't "good enough" by any standard, but more because we like to seek out and explore sonic landscapes like that. I can't speak for everyone, but I thrive as a musician off of finding an awesome tone or sound and making it work in context with people I play with. It's one of my joys of living.

Texture is a foundation block of great songs. Pedals can lend desirable texture, if used well.
