Hi I'm just wondering if anyone out there knows how to mod a normal micro synth into the bass version? Or.. Know of any other cool mods and how to do them. I think my model is post 2002 so it has the 3pdt swich making it true bypass.

From what I've read, the only difference between the guitar and bass versions is the range of the filter.
Having just had a BMS I think it would be nice if you could bypass the voicing and filtering sections independently.

I think it's just a matter of changing the values of a couple of capacitors. RonSound sells schematics if I remember correctly and he might be able to do the mod.

It's three capacitors and one resistor difference. The caps are in the section called "smoothing filter", for the square wave if I recall correctly. The range of the low pass filter is the same. It's a simple enough mod, but those things are no fun to work on, two pcb's sandwiched together. Putting it all back together was the most annoying part for me.

Can any one tell me what capacitors and resistor need to be changed or is there a schematic somewhere that someone could point out the change on?

I'm sending a regular Micro Synth to Analogman to have the TBP and expression mods done and would like to have it modded to be a Bass Micro Synth at the same time if possible.

Thanks in advance, Joe

Post-1990 reissue version schematics??

Can anyone help me out here...

All the schematics for the Bass Micro Synth ond Guiter version seem to be for the vintage version and are dated 1978.

My pedal is with Analogman now but he needs the schematics for the post 1990 reissue version. I've searched around and I can only find the old version.

I'm willing to flick some coin though to anyones Paypal account if they can help. Joe

I know it's a little late, but here's a schematic from 1996: http://files.effectsdatabase.com/sch...microsynth.pdf
