Electro Harmonix - New vs Old

Long-time reader, first time poster so hi all!

Was rummaging through my parent's loft and found a couple of old EH pedals that my dad used decades ago. One's a clone theory chorus/vibrato and the other a doctor q envelope filter, both from around '78-9. Played around with them both and they sound great. Discovering these made me feel like Sinbad or Indiana Jones!

Im wondering: how do these stack up against the newer equivalents? Is it worth selling them if they're worth anything to the right person and replacing them with something that isn't a relic but maybe just as good?

Thanks in advance

Dr Q is tons of fun, I would probably hold onto it if it were mine but you might be able to get about $100 for selling it.

I guess the older are better than new ones? Don't know, some people say the current nano series are not road worthy... I had a few newer ones and never had a problem.

Nah, they are worthless...just send them to me and I'd be happy to dispose of them for you.
