I cant decide which one too get, i'm leaning more towards the POG2, i saw a review of one on youtube and it sounded very nice, but it was on guitar, does anyone know if there is a bass version of the pog2? or does it work well with both bass and guitar???

The POG2 will be fine with bass.

It's different to the Whammy though. It all depends on what you want.

I have a Whammy IV, and it's... okay. Unless you true-bypass mod it, you can still get this digital sound in your signal, which is not that great. Plus I just don't use it very much, since it seems like sort of a niche pedal.

that's what ended up happening with me. had all these great ideas for it, ended up using the pitch shifter for chorus, occasional downtuning on the fly, and an octave box. got a micro pog instead. not quite a pog or pog 2, but cheaper and does what i need.
