Recently got the electro-harmonix POG (polyphonic octave generator) to try and thought I would post some audio clips. I used a Valenti J bass into the POG then straight into my Digi002. No added EQ, compression etc.
The first link is simply the tone of the bass in order to give a reference point. http://www.chrisrhoadsmusic.com/pog/justbass.mp3
The following link is a mixture of the dry signal and the suboctave http://www.chrisrhoadsmusic.com/pog/sub.mp3
We then have the dry, sub, and 1 octave up http://www.chrisrhoadsmusic.com/pog/subandoneup.mp3
then dry, sub, 1 up, and 2 up http://www.chrisrhoadsmusic.com/pog/suboneandtwoup.mp3
then dry, sub, 1 up, and 2up detuned http://www.chrisrhoadsmusic.com/pog/...unedsecond.mp3
then organ type chords chords with the dry sub 1up 2 up detuned http://www.chrisrhoadsmusic.com/pog/organesqchords.mp3
then a demonstration of tracking switching between high and low notes quickly. http://www.chrisrhoadsmusic.com/pog/...ckingallon.mp3
all in all it seems to be an impressive product that is quite easy to use, and seems to do a good job creating unique sounds.

Thanks for the demos. They sound good - and usable. Thanks also for contributing to everyone's G.A.S.
I play in a 4 piece and it would be cool to have some octave up on occasion to fill things out a bit. |

I play with a 3 piece occasionally and the ability to fill up the sound spectrum with the +1 octave is deffinitly an interesting thought to pursue. Also really enjoyed the organ tones, not sure how useable they truly are in a live setting, but they sure are fun.

I feel this captured the general idea of the organ"ish" sound however
