Electro Harmonix XO Bass Big Muff PI questions. . .

Hey guys, I just picked one of these up from Musician's Friend. I play a Fender Precision through a GK 1001RB II and I was wondering if it were possible to get this tone from the pedal.

Check out the tone on "A Darkness in the Light"

Just curious since I bought this pedal without testing it first. If worse comes to worse, I'll just flip it on CL.

Thanks in advance.

IMO, that song sounds like a P-bass through a cranked SVT or some kindof overdrive pedal, not a muff. Still might be, but just sayin.

Edit: looked through some pics. Looks like a Mesa 400+, P-Bass (picked), and a Sansamp BDDI

Word. I was just wondering if I was able to get that edgy growl out of a Muff.
