electronix gemini-drive problem help

hey guys, I have a gemini drive and I'm experiencing some signal pass issues that I'm trying to solve but need some help...

the lead going from the input jack to the bypass button came loose and broke off and i'm trying to reattach it with no luck... not sure why but I was hoping I could have somebody take a photo of the leads in and out of the engage button to help me along with trying to fix this bad boy...

any help would be greatly appreciated

well, the issue is I don't know where to attach it...

there were 2 possible places it could have gone and i tried the both of them and no luck...

I may be wrong though so I wanted to try and find somebody with the same pedal.

the red lead connecting the bottom right terminal to the output jack(on the right of image) not entirely sure if it SHOULD be connected to the bottom right or the middle right... or any other one really, but In the second it fell off i wanna say i remember it falling off of one of those 2

It goes to the middle right lug. Clean up that solder too

thats what i thought initially too but it ended up not working... but if ur certain it goes there then i'll definitely try it again with a cleaned up solder!

Consider too that the switch may have gone bad. Have you checked it with multimeter?

I had a similar issue with an effect pedal I rehoused. Thought I hooked everything up all right (I did) but no signal when engaged. At the suggestion of the builder I checked the footswitch and sure enough it had gone dead.

well, the button still works, the pedal turns on.

but i feel confident in the fact that it is just the worse because it was working great until the jack got loose and started twisted to the point where the lead just snapped off, i fixed it once before and it worked find, but i guess i didn't do a well enough job the first time because it got loose again

If you connected the wire to the lower right terminal on the switch it would have been always connected for direct bypass (input jack to output jack). If it did not pass a signal with the wire connected to the lower right terminal on the switch, then you have a problem with the connections to the output jack. Or the tip contact on the jack is grounding against the case when a plug is inserted.

Also, a drop of blue thread-lock on the jack threads before tightening the nut will keep the jack from coming loose.

Those 3PDT switches are three independent switch segments. You can have one fail while the other two continue to work properly. Excessive heat on the switch terminals will easily kill these switches.
