Generally Fuzz's sound a whole lot better with lots of volume and headroom.

| | | | Love, love, love my Submarine and really enjoy my Gemini. It only gets an "enjoy" mostly because of my preference for clean tones most of the time. But it's the best pedal for dirt that I've played to date. I will likely own every MusicElectronix bass pedal in the near future. I really like Os' designs. He has the artistic vision to know what he wants the pedals to sound like and the scientific know how to achieve the goal. |

they've all been favorite pedals of mine - I'd really like to try the GeminiDrive, and if os ever made a dual submarine (as was mentioned in the other thread) I'd have to get one. Just such a versitile tone shaper |

Ever since looking on ebay and discovering this Music Electronix company, I have been slightly interested in Os designs and pedals. "Interesting", I mused. Then when I saw that he had an account here on TB, curiosity killed me, and I sent sent him an email. I am every so glad I did.
I love my MessDrive Hybrid+. I had mine built with a submarine yellow paint job.
It is so deep and sounds very nice in the effect's loop of my Qtron+. (I also have a GeminiDrive, but I forgot to take pictures of it.)
But Os happens to build some of the best pedals I have ever heard, and I really enjoy the two that I have a lot. I need to try out a Submarine one of these days, and his upcoming pedal designs have me twisting in anticipation.
So, Os, when can we here so more about these two pedals? Quote:

The Fuzz face esque one I'm really looking forward to as well.
Can't get a better fuzz pedal than the Messdrive at its price IMHO

FaceDrive is ready pending approval. I am torn between offering more gain on the top or keeping it as a classic smooth vintage fuzz. It will be around regular MessDrive price range.
NoizDrive is killing me.. I want to make it weird, but still trying to keep it being a toy where you wouldn't use in an actual gig I keep pulling it to the center and after some more trials; I notice that it become pretty sweet pedal for to be called as NoizDrive I will get there eventually |

Oh god....oh god...I've fallen in love with my gutairist's fuzz face. I really really think I need to get this. Holy crap.

Otherwise, it is same as putting two effects in the same box. |

The Facedrive, man, I could see me wanting that too. You are not good for the budget OS
