I find that I am really interested in purchasing an Emma DiscumBOBulator - I love the effect sound, I love that the natural tone of the bass is retained. But of course, the pedal is not in production apparently, and near impossible to come by.
Does anyone know of a pedal of comparable quality, effect sound, etc?
Thanks.

I want to say the EMMA was based on the old MXR envelope filter so if you're a DIY'er you could always try to build the GGG version. |

The Maxon AF-9 is somewhat similar, a bit more versatile but not as fat as the Emma. |

It is probably closest to the Emma but with WAY more versatility and options. I remember thinking how I wish the Emma had all the options the 3 Leaf does. Plus I believe it is made for bass, so everything sounds good. They are also similar in that when you turn them on, there is no volume boost at all. The Maxon has a bit of a volume boost and IMHO is not very versatile at all, at least nothing like the 3 Leaf. Plus it has the effects loop which is a total bonus!
