Hookers and blackjack?!

This looks well beyond what I would ever need. I like pedals I have to calm down rather than wishing they could do more. Therefore, byebye money.

Isn't that essentially a Pigtronix EP-1 with tap tempo? :<

Looks pretty tweekable, but I'm gonna wait for the Subdecay.
This one only goes up to 4-stage, and I have no use for 2-stage.

I like the externally controllable parameters. Tap tempo via your Octaswitcheroo or GiggleRiggle!

I hate Empress.

I'd like a well rounded pedal board that has a few different manufacturers represented, not a monument to monopoly. Let's see, when I'm rich:

Empress Phaser
Empress Tap Tremolo
Empress Vintage Modified Superdelay
Empress ParaEq
Sod it, may as well...
Empress Midibox
never gonna happen

I actually gasped out loud. Release date?Edit: Missed it in the link. I'm going to bite the bullet on this one. I've wanted a good tap tempo phaser for so long.

Do want.

Oh my god it's so sexy. 18v's? Yeyyyyy headroom

Anybody know why so many phaser pedals are painted green? And why so many chorus pedals are painted blue? I've been wondering why this is for a little while now.

Having just purchased the Keeley Phaser, I don't even want to know about this, but I will say that my Empress ParaEQ is AMAZING!

Unless the SubDecay Quasar DLX is released with more or better features for less money, I'm DEFINITELY buying this my next pay day. You have one week SubDecay.

There's also a slew of them painted orange, mostly taking their cue from the MXR.

I think the Quasar Deluxe WILL be less money. At $350 you're really only talking about the Toadworks Phantasm and the Mad Professor Tiny Orange Phaser as competition at the price point.

I'm not a huge fan of 2 stage phasing and I like 8 stagers better than 4 (though 6 seems to be my favorite) so I'd lean toward the Subdecay except that envelope phasing is just so cool sounding. I love that they both do stepped phasing, a feature I've always dug.

I've settled on a phaser for my board (in the end I just need something simple that gets the tone in my head without a million bells and whistles) but I will no doubt try both of these phasers out because I'm deranged that way and can't help myself.
