Yo guys earlier I was looking thru a long thread that showcased some really cool do it yourself artwork. Just awesome!

In that spirit, I wanted to show you this site (spanish I think, made in Chile). I came upon it on youtube whilst looking at a woolly mammoth clone this guy made.

His etched enclosures are really awesome, scroll down and czech them out.

Hey! I know this guy back from Chile. His etching skills are pretty awesome... allthough, this other guy IMO is even better! http://www.flickr.com/photos/modifiedheadlabs I know both from the same Chilean electronics/music forums.

Regards

Doug.

The Rutz Guitar guy also wrote a tutorial how to do multicolor etching. You can find it over at diystompboxes.org.

I've always wanted to give etching a try, but from hearing how hazardous it is, what with the toxic cemicals, noxious fumes, and high chance for failure or catastrophe, I'll leave it to the pros to make me some beautiful works of art that don't scratch off...
Now if only I owned any...
