English Muff'n v Ts9 Modded

Sign in to disble this ad
At the moment I'm running a Big muff and a TS9 through a loop blended with my signal to prevent the loss of the low end. Anyway I'm getting a bass big muff for my b'day and I was just wondering do I sell the Robert Keeley TS9 to purchase an EHX english muffn' and use my looper for something else? I like the sound out of the TS9 but can be a little nasily sometimes for my taste. Is the English Muff'n really that good on bass? I like a lot of gain as you can tell, my vt-1 is on all the time to add a little natural grit and tubey goodness.
Current Setup:
Ric 4003
DHA VT-1 -- Boss Looper-----------lpb1--big muff---ts9
. . . . . .. . . . . . .. |----Boss Tu-2----Delay---Chorus----Reverb
Ampeg B200r

Thanks
