And it can even vary within a region.

Is this even worth starting a thread about? I don't mean to sound harsh, Earthday, but "envelope" is really one of those words that can be legitimately pronounced in more than one way.

On a side note... you'll probably get some weird but entertaining discussions from the oddballs in the Off Topic forum on this sort of thread. Ask a mod to move it there.

Anyone wanna debate with me about how to pronounce "tomato"?

Just thought there might have been a way it is pronounced in the effects sense. This answers my question and go ahead and delete/move this.
