the MXR 108 is a 10 band eq pedal I've been using lately to up my input out of a BDDI into my poweramp. It runs on 18v so it has a ton of headroom and it's real clean sounding. lots of clean gain too. it is not expensive, I think I'm gonna take it back to GC and get an Aguilar Tone Hammer tho. Just because I don't think I'll need it with the tone controls on the Aguilar and the gobs of *reported gain comming from the TH.

The MXR M-108 is great tho I'd recommend it.

Whirlwind (of all companies -- the DI and cable co.) makes a real good quality graphic EQ pedal. Its big feature is "constant Q": unlike many graphics, the width of each band doesn't overlap past its neighbor bands with small increments or decrements.

Another option is to go for a (fully) parametric EQ. If you have a bit of a grasp on how various freq. ranges contribute to your bass tone, a para. will give you really good control. E.G., if you need to notch out a super narrow feedback, you can do it with surgical precision, and little disturbance to other close freqs.

It turns out there are precious few fully parametric EQ pedals out there -- at least with the 3 bands I need. I just ordered a B.Y.O.C. -- "Build Your Own Clone" -- parametric. They're DIY kits, but you can also order them built for you.
The freq. ranges are little high for bass, but any decent tech can lower them for you.

Sorry, not paying full attention. Neither of the options I mentioned are particuarly inexpensive.

+1 I have this same EQ and it's great for the money. Each band is lit with its own LED. Super Delux for a pedal.
