Ernie Ball Jr Problem

Got to practice the other day and my EB 250K Jr seemed stiff but it moved but the volume didn't change at all, infact it was off so it seemed to me like the string was taut enough so I've fixed that but the travel still isn't right and the spring isn't under all that much pressure I can wrap the string around again but trying to hook it all up and stretch that string by about 2cm is near impossible.

I'm wondering if it is the string tautness or if it just sounds like the pot needs replacing?

Any info/Pictures of the spring under pressure would be great.

I would guess it's a pot problem. I recently shipped my pedal back to Ernie Ball and they rebuild it for $55. Works like new now.
