Interested in getting one. I have a Musicman Stingray which is active.

I am just abit confused about which one to get because there are so many different options. Can some explain to me whats the difference/pros/cons between JR and Fullsize, 25k, 250k, 500k and stereo and mono are?

Thanks.

You have an active bass so you'd probably want the VP Jr. 25K (6181). Unless you have stereo pedals going into it, then you'd want the #6167, which only comes in the larger size.

I'm running a stereo set-up, but I have my stereo stuff (delay, reverb) after the volume pedal so I'm okay with the 6181.

25 K is for active instruments only. 250 and 500 K are ideal for passive instruments, but can also be used with actives. 500 K may have a slightly brighter sound than 250 K, in some contexts. Mono is for 1-channel signals, like most basses. Stereo is for 2-channel signals, like a stereo keyboard, a two-output Ric, a stereo drum machine, etc. Junior versus full-size are just about whether it's a large or small pedal--your preference.

Thanks. Can you explain why you would use two channel signals?
