European 1 Spot adapter users help please

Sign in to disble this ad
I've bought the combo pack, and the funny thing about adapter is, the pins are not firmly in place. I can slide them up inside the adapter and pull them back out. This causes problems because the adapter won't "sit" well in the power outlet.
It works fine, but the pins are driving me crazy.

I mailed and called the guitar center where I bought it, but they keep saying they're all like that, so you could use them in different outlets (America, Australia..). I called BS on that because 1 Spot has different adapters for other countries with different power outlets. They still claimed them all to be the same, with "flimsy and sliding" pins. They offered to switch my adapter but still claimed they will all be the same.

So please, European TBers who use 1 Spot - are your adapter pins firm and solid, or do they slide up and down?

They definitely should not slide at all. 1spot got a lot critique for being flimsy and the pins breaking easily in the exact way as in your case when I asked around about different adapter brands a few weeks back.

Thanks for your replies guys!
I'm sending the unit back, and asking for a refund because the store owners are trying to scam me by telling me all units are like that..
