Prolly either of the FV-500s. You could prolly even get a 25K-ish volume pedal and use a 2xmono->1xstereo 1/4" plug and have it work. You might even be able to use a 250K volume.

It depends on if the exp is meant to replace one of the pots on the pedal, or if the pedal sends a drone thru the exp and tracks the output vs. input voltages.

The manual for my GT-10B says that an EV-5, FV-500H or FV-500L will work with it. I'd say the SYB-5 is prolly similar in how it reads the exp pedal, since both are digital, and boss.

I'd go for the 500L if you could get it for a good price (sub 60-70$? since they go for about 125 up here and an EB VPjr is around 100 new. JMHO)

im talking with that guy about the 500l anyway. what is the difference between that and the 500h? active and passive? i know low and high impedance but what exactly does this mean in an expression pedal?
cheers

The volume side of the 500H is 250K ohms IIRC from looking inside mine (which I use as the exp2 on my GT10B), and the volume side of the L is prolly 25K, since its meant for after active electronics.

The pot inside my 500H is a double stacked one tho (1 for the volume and 1 for the exp jacks), and from the writing on the side it looks like the exp side is 10K ohms or something. I imagine that the exp side of the L is the same value as the H since the manual for the GT says you can use either of the 3 (H, L, EV-5) as the exp controller.
