Ever heard of any german boutique effects?

I have a friend coming to live with me for a few months from Germany in a month. Curious if there are any effects you can't find normally in the states that he can bring over. Dunno if anyone has any knowledge of the subject or not, thought I would ask

Thanks

Randal

The dude who made the Alfred Overdrive was in Germany, wasn't he? I always wanted to try that one, the clips sounded fantastic.

Not really an effect... but if it was me I'd look into having him bring over a Noll preamp. My TCM-3P KILLS for versatility and ease of use. Too bad they're impossible to find here in the States and for some reason their European distributors charge a small fortune to export 'em.

Sounds good too I guess.
I've only tried the predecessor.

From what I understand, Okko is still in business (they got a Swedish distributor only earlier this year, or late last year), and make some of the coolest looking pedals around, in my book.

Orange Preamp in a stomp box. As far as I know it sounds quite nice (but it's expensive as hell too ).

My god those guys are awesome. They put naked chicks on one pedal and named another one the "rectumfryer"
