A fuzz created by an op amp rather than a transistor...could be interesting.

Particularly apparent in that last video, is that EWS may be a subsidiary or "side project" of Xotic. Any info to back this suspicion up?

If I had to guess it uses diodes for clipping (I haven't listened to the clips yet) and a Tonebender like sound.
