Hey guys, I have a Morley Little Alligator volume pedal and while I do like it, it usually gets little use. I was wondering if there were any examples of songs/artists that use the volume pedal on a usual basis. I just want to see some video samples or hear some clips that emphasize the way a volume pedal can be used effectively. Of course you can use one for huge swells but I want to see how others use their volume pedals for some inspiration. Thanks!
i like using a lot of reverb with the volume all the way down and then slowly raising it. sometimes together with distortion. make a really nice harmonic effect
+1 Plus, with delays you can get some great sounds.
Other than this, asking for some examples of a Volume pedal being used would be kinda the same as 'please give some examples of a volume knob being used'
just listen to some post-rock... volume swells are all over the genre... I'm not sure what else could be done in regards to "playing" a vol. pedal... maybe in front of an envelope to turn in into more of a wah, but then just get a wah right?
