 Are Exar Compressor Pedals any good?

My EBS MultiComp seems to be shot (it generates humongous feedback when it's in the signal chain) and I'm not sure if I can get it fixed. To be honest I was kind of bored with it anyway and have been meaning to try something different for ages.
The Exars look pretty interesting and can be had pretty cheaply. Has anyone ever tried one of those? Thanks a lot in advance. |
