Exar Moby Dick

Hey All,

I just bought one of these off of Ebay for $111.66. It seems like a great chorus (checked out sound clips), being a handmade analog piece and all.

I was also looking at an Analogman Mini Chorus with the "deep" option, but I can't bring myself to pay $250 for one little pedal.

Hopefully, this little-known pedal will come through.

It's a great sounding, well-built pedal. I think you'll be pleased. Search for the EXAR Tourbox thread. You can find several reviews of the pedal.

It's a great pedal for that price. The waveform seems a bit unconventional, but alas!

I sold my Analogman mini with fixed deep option and mix knob and bought Exar Moby Dick. I can describe its sound as transparent. Soundwise, the TCE and the EBS choruses come close. But the Moby Dick sounds fuller than the TCE (and it holds the sub-lows better) and it cuts through the mix better than the EBS. And also it's very tweakable. My favourite chorus pedal!
