Who here actually has one and uses it in a band setting?
I'm thinking of checking one out to see how it works with my 15 string(tripled 5). |

I've owned the POG 1 and 2. And the Deep Impact. Not for me. |

| | | | I tried one, but just as part of the Exar Tour Box. I would be concerned about tracking issues since it's analog and the octave strings would create a very complex note to track. I'd try the lowly OC-3 in Poly mode, use the Guitar input which ironically gives a fatter sound than the Bass input. |

I didn't particularly dig the sound of the Octavium. It didn't sound bad but I'm partial to the OC-2 completely wet OCT.1 sound, which the Octavium does not achieve. |

It's "very good for the price", but really I think you'd be happier with something that tracks polyphonically. I'd send you one to try out, but the tourbox with it is still out on tour, and I only have one more for retail stock. Maybe after New Years I could send it out as a demo. Cheers! |

I know from experience that the 15 string is powerful and for a pedal to track the way I want the Octavium wont do. |
