Those of you that tried out the Octavium, what did you think of its octave up? Was it similar to other analog octave-up effects that you have used? In what ways was it different?

It is slightly dirty, very similar to the octave up of the EHX Microsynth.
Very different from an Unibass or MicroPOG.
It keeps track of your playing pretty well as long as you don't feed it more than one note.
I think this pedal is a very decent cheaper alternative to a POG. Does it sell well? It should.

I did think it was similar to the BMS octave up, but my recollection is that it was a bit less dirty. Still dirty, but just a little less ragged.

I agree that it was dirty--i didn't really like it except for adding a little top end rasp for a real funk-ed out sound with the octave down and clean running on full
