EXP / CV Controller help please!!!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
I have the Robot Factory Photron coming in the mail, it has a CV expression input.

Here is what I know, please correct me if I am wrong.

The CV Controller has a TRS plug.
An Expression Pedal is just a Mono plug, usually the out portion of a volume pedal as well

So question.

Can I use a VP-Jr 25k with a Trs plug to x2 mono ends and hook it up in the in and out of the vp-jr and control the voltage that way?

If yes, then I want to do the vp-jrs

Should I get a Moog EP-2 for the CV duties and a VP-Jr 25K for the expression inputs?

I need to get on this ASAP and havent had any luck with google or the search

thx

An expression pedal has TRS plugs/inserts. The Ernie Balls are volume pedals, not expression pedals. While some effects like the Eventide pedals allow for expression control with a mono plug (like the Ernie Balls), it's not the standard.
