I use the ABsynth with passives only, and mine is a 5k (has gain control, which makes ALL the difference, IMO).

The wolf cpu has more high end, so it will cut bass in some settings for sure. You just have to find the right spots, as all the knobs are really interactive. I prefer that one set with lower gain...then back off the starve to bring the crazy.

Both are silicon high gainers.

polygrace is a beautiful, beautiful beast. deepest ****in toanz ever. feed that into a TAFM and it's just good.

blargg-o-tron-o-tron is other-worldly. very unique modulation, amazing voicing and rattle goin on.

particle is...crazy good. saving up for one, myself. FINAL VERSION?! WHATCHU TALKIN 'BOUT, BEHNDIS?

bugcrushers are pretty darn tight. lots of good glitchtoanz.

i feel...at home in this thread.

i can vouch for this one.

basically a clone of the long discontinued DOD Buzz Box. those of you that know that one, will know the chaos you can get out this one. put it in feedback loop and watch out.

audible disease's other pedals are worth checking out too...

Totally forgot (it's on the guitar board)...

Mountainking Electronics Frequency ~ LSD

It actually has a Freq Out switch... and yeah, it sounds like it's freaking out, painfully.

Catalinbread Heliotrope, nasty, unpredictable little <insert favourite pejorative>. I need to duct tape the knobs into a sweet spot and leave it.
