I've been looking for a fuzz wherein the fuzz sound can be controlled through an expression pedal, is there such a thing?
I saw the AKAI Shred-o-matic but I was looking for something more fuzzy.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I forgot, I don't mind if it's a guitar pedal, as long as it delivers the fuzz. ;D

Fuzz isn't exactly my area of expertise, so there's a good chance that there's something else out there that Im not familiar with. |

We now offer an expression jack for the sensitivity control. Use this upgrade with an expression pedal for extra pleasure! I mean, Moms gotta love that!
| I uh, suppose sensitivity = more fuzz or less fuzz?

the expression pedal can control gain, volume, tone, i think even blend.
only problem is the fuzzes dont sound that good. they might be okay, i honestly only turned it on once or twice, i use that unit for the modulation. |

Through the expression pedal you can indeed control the level of Fuzz, from nothing to full throttle teeth shaking, bottles-of-the-wall shaking Fuzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Unfortunately I have no recording equipment to let you hear the possibilities, but I can assure you, they are there..
And no, I don't have a picture of me standing on the expression pedal together with my other foot on the Wah pedal, rocking both feet...

| Not too good of a tone huh? I'll look into it
Well, Lonnystingray just gave me all the info I needed, but I was thinking of something less costly than a B:assmaster, though it sounds great.
Ha ha, I'm just doing this research for my guitarist, she wants to get a fuzz she can crank or cut back on the go, I'd look for cheaper options but we really do want the best tone we can get.

If you're willing to modify an existing pedal, it opens up alot more options and sounds. It's a fairly easy job to do (most of the time) and it's not that expensive.
Just my 0.02

| | Monster Mike | | | | I'm electronically terrible with anything other than paint by numbers style kit building, but wouldn't it be pretty easy to add a stereo jack to any pedal and have it set up so that when you plug into the jack one of the pots would shut off, instead letting you control that parameter via an expression pedal?
I'd really love to do a mod like that to a lot of my pedals.
I could be way out here, but if I'm right, someone should be extra nice and draw up a wiring diagram for just such a procedure.

honestly, its kind of cool. itll build up if you go slow, and if you go fast on the expression pedal its almost like a weird wah kind of thing. i think itd be wicked before a foot wah with linked expression control. i have such a device, but, again, gimme a couple days to bang my head against the wall and fix my desktop.
i got mine here used. i love it. its more useful than my boss hyper fuzz or any of the fuzz settings in the chunk os. great buy (and a cool name). | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
